OL Glögg Review 2021

Before we start, we should explain the criterias we rated each glögg by.

Aesthetic refers to how much we liked the bottle. Oftentimes, we actually had quite different opinions! This doesn't influence the overall rating very much.

Sweetness also doesn't directly impact the overall rating, rather we wanted to use it to indicate how sweet each of them were. Although of course the sweetness is a vital part of the assessment!

Performance is meant to indicate how closely each glögg matches our expectations. 5 means that our expectations were exceeded, whereas somewhere around 4 means our expectations were matched.

Overall is the real heavy-hitter here. The taste! And general enjoyment.

The evening started off with a jolly greeting from Edward Blom, whom unfortunately could not make it. Quite the way to get things going!

The aroma was extraordinary! Definitely more spices than many glögg, with lots of cinnamon and nutmeg. Probably a dash of pepper?

Made from berry wine! Far more tangy, and doesn't taste as much of spice.

After our 5th cup of glögg we needed a break as to not get drunk too fast. So we went for a walk! Why drink glögg if you aren't cold?
